Benefit Bella bamba review. Photo,Swatches

Benefit Bella Bamba Boxed Powder is a brightened medium pink with pale gold shimmer-sheen. It’s fairly pigmented and can easily be used as an intense blusher, but it’s soft and fine enough in texture to be used as a sheer color on cheeks when blended out. I want to say it’s like a mix of Coralista and Sugarbomb but distinctly pink, not really a coral at all.

At first glance, it seems like Bella Bamba might just be another NARS Orgasm variation, but it’s so much pinker than those peachy-pinks. The closest dupe I could think of was Chanel Pink Explosion Joues Contraste, which is slightly cooler and has less gold shimmer. NARS Angelika is closest in color by NARS, but it’s really more a mesh of that blush with Albatross, I’d say.

Benefit changed the packaging design just slightly on this one: it’s still a pressed board box, but the top is hinged with a magnetic closure. (And there’s a mirror in the lid.

I think many of you have been wondering what it means when Benefit says this blush is “3D.” Many of you are also wondering just how sparkly Bella Bamba is. Let me answer both questions at once.

I applied this blush lightly, and I had to look closely in the mirror for the sparkles. The blush is quite glowy, though, and I think that’s what the “3D” effect is But not 100% sure.

theBalm Shady Lady Vol. 3 Eyeshadow Palette Review, Photos, Swatches

TheBalm has three Shady Lady shadow/liner palettes out and Vol. 3 is the newest one which features nine shimmery saturated colors.

I am fairly new to theBalm but so far really liking everything about this palette

The names of these shadows are super cute and fun, which is yet another reason to love them.

The palette comes in a fun giraffe print on the front and then lists all the colors on the back. It’s a heavy sturdy cardboard palette with a large mirror inside. It does feel like it would do a good job protecting shadows as long as they didn’t get completely crushed

The palette includes nine shades: Lusty Lee (silver shimmer), Envious Erin (shimmery pearl), Racy Kacy (copper shimmer), Safe Bet Annette (pale-pink shimmer), Runaround Rebecca (sage), Come-Hither Heather (soft taupe), Open To Offers Olwen (teal), All The Way Annie (shimmering amethyst), and Guilty Gwen (sparkly black shimmer).

This palette has a good mix of colors, and I can see some combinations coming from the palette, though I see these more easily mixed with other products you already own. They are all rather shimmery/frosty finishes, which makes them easy to blend. The quality is really phenomenal, excluding Guilty Gwen, and well worth the price tag.

I was really pleased with all the colors in this palette. They were all very soft and nicely saturated. Even the black glittery one felt soft not gritty, and was really dark. I like how they say next to the name which ones are good as liners also. Helpful tips are always appreciated!
